Artist statement
"A patinated material, wrinkled, as if worn by time, with reflections of bronze and copper that give it back to life under certain lights. The old, worn materials, the traces left still touch me.
I always was attracted by the polychrome golden woods, all the weathered surfaces worn by time.
It’s just grazing to give life to neutral tones, I wanted it to move because I don’t like inertia.
In front of this painting I would like you to feel intêrét and astonishment, tenderness for the old things, the objects that have crossed the ages."
