This painting was innspired by my trip to Beijing in 2019. When I was wondering on the street in the evening, I encountered the most beautiful sunset at this crossroad and I knew I just have to paint it down.

When I first tried out oil paintings few year ago, I was in love with this medium immediately. It complements my style in so many ways. I like to work with slightly dirtorted shapes to help express a mood or atmosphere, and also enjoy painting landscapes or still life in an impressionistic way.
