Hauntology / Frontiers
“Hauntology (a portmanteau of haunting and ontology) is a neologism. The concept refers to the return or persistence of elements from the past, as in the manner of a ghost. (...) Hauntology consists of works that are constructed from a trace from the past. Most often material, this trace can also be immaterial”.
In the Hauntology / Frontiers series Youri works on the matter, the space and the absence of space, always in his linkage thematic.

Youri sees his past as a strong legacy; his work remains in the vein of post-minimalism.
