About the art
Artist statement
Solve et Coagula is the alchemic process where a substance or a body dissolves to rearrange itself into a new existence.
This series shows the natural cycle of life in continuous transmutation through the shadow of organic matter, reflecting on the constant renewal of substance after decay.
Death means transformation from a state to another.
There is no beginning or end, but a permanent transformation.
Matter is supported by dark matter, it's invisible shadow.
The selection of original china ink prints on japanese paper is the result of a body of work made throughout four years (2016-2020)
