Artist Statement
When a volatile solution is wiped off with a brush or hand, it leaves marks like water stains, but it is left as it is.
After that, he scooped it out with a single needle. Then, the first handwriting and the second handwriting are different, and the undercoat color appears, but this process is repeated.
The reason for using a needle is suitable for scratching, and the needle is originally a tool used to make cloth, but I like the fact that its sharpness can make it prickly when touched.

Artist Profile
Born: 1982
Hometown: southkorea
Based in: South Korea
I was born in an industrial city in South Korea in 1982 and am currently working on art based in Seoul.
As a child, I liked to spend the abandoned car park alone in the playground. It was an infinite time of daydreaming, and it was better to be hiding because I liked people but was afraid of being hurt.
The little child, who was drawing while looking at the stars and the moon in the night sky, digs deeper into small wounds that began with a slight overlap of memories and relationships.
Putting up a canvas and touching paint made by myself, I pats the wounds inside me. So that your wounds will be healed while you bury them like that way.
