Pigment and gesso on canvas

Note: Actual colours may vary due to photography & computer settings.
I'm always unfamiliar with the canvas I meet for the first time.
It is painted many times with white gesso, replaced with fine sandpaper, and touched with sincerity.
The carbon powder on top of it is a passageway that leads to a different world from yours because of the accidental graphite traces that are mixed with the medium.
The canvas, which is constantly filled with blanks, is still a never-ending hole and is close like a scar.

Hometown: South Korea
Based in: South Korea
I was born in an industrial city in South Korea in 1982 and am currently working on art based in Seoul.
As a child, I liked to spend the abandoned car park alone in the playground. It was an infinite time of daydreaming, and it was better to be hiding because I liked people but was afraid of being hurt.
The little child, who was drawing while looking at the stars and the moon in the night sky, digs deeper into small wounds that began with a slight overlap of memories and relationships.
Putting up a canvas and touching paint made by myself, I pats the wounds inside me. So that your wounds will be healed while you bury them like that way.
