Artist Statement
I spend lot of time in the forest.
I love to paint the forest
There I feel so free.
I have my emotions that I experienced during forest bathing (Shirin Yoku),
as well as the sounds and smells that I perceived, represented in the pictures.
From this, the work shown here was created.
My pictures are made out of many layers
I use colors with different textures.
Those I apply with various painting and spatula techniques onto the canvas.
A clear acrylic varnish has been applied to protect the beauty of this work.
The work is smooth like marble.

I moved to Germany at the age of 20 because in Bosnia and Herzegovina was a war.
