ART|JOG 9 is just around the corner, and once again there is a sense of excitement and mystery around what to expect from this year's contemporary art fair. It has become a vessel for the development of visual arts in Indonesian and Asia, and elevates Yogyakarta into a major tourist destination within Indonesia. With the theme 'Universal Influence', this year's edition is sure to be as amazing, if not more so than the last; this year they will exhibit the works of 70 artists from Indonesia and overseas. Furthermore, ART|JOG is moving to Jogja National Musuem this year as a form of support for the dynamics of visual arts in Yogyakarta.

As the fair opens tomorrow, let's take a trip down memory lane to see some of the amazing installations and highlights that were part of some of their earlier editions!
