The Artling Launches Design

The Artling, the premier online resource for Asian contemporary art, continues to expand its online offerings by launching DESIGN - a new category dedicated to featuring both established and emerging contemporary designers from Asia. One can expect to find exclusive and limited edition design objects, tableware, furniture, lighting and other collectible design items on theartling.com.
The curated collection will include works by artisans and designers from throughout Asia, from the award- winning YOY Studio from Japan, to emerging Lebanese designer Ghassan Salameh. “It is our primary goal to highlight the creative talent in Asia, and expanding our selection to include Design is a natural extension of that. By adding Design to the platform, we are creating a comprehensive resource for artists and designers from Asia looking to expand their exposure, and for all those interested in the creative scenes in the region,” says Kim Tay, Gallery Manager of The Artling.
With the launch of Design, The Artling will become a one-stop platform for the best in contemporary Asian art and design. The Design selection will have objects at every price point, ranging from US$15 to over US$10,000, with new items and designers added weekly.
