Born 1959 in Seoul, South Korea, Soun Hong is a painter whose main focus was landscapes and portraits, but has now expanded his artistic practice to still live (nature morte) works. The artist gathers objects to keep the memery of himself, others and their places alive, making the objects present by presenting them to us in a new context. In this exhibition, Soun Hong hopes to project the the mystery of life and death, not through words, but by the colours, shapes and visuals of his work.
