There’s never enough time to see it all during Hong Kong Art Week. From heavyweight commercial fairs such as Art Basel and Art Central to vibrant gallery shows and cool non-profit events and exhibitions, The Artling offers a comprehensive guide to help you make the most of your visit.
Since most of the activity is concentrated in Central, if you have a limited schedule, travel along the waterfront from Art Basel to Art Central and then hit up "Debris" at Pier 4, before taking the pedestrian walkway to Exchange Square for a look at the Lynn Chadwick sculptures.
From there, continue to Pedder Building (our gallery listings shown below are arranged from the top floor down) and then take a quick stroll to White Cube and Galerie Perrotin at 50 Connaught Road. Don’t forget to look up along the way, to catch a glimpse of Antony Gormley’s Event Horizon installations.
