ARCOmadrid, the big sister of ARCOlisboa, is a long-running art fair founded by the Spanish organisation IFEMA. Since its inception in 1982, the fair has evolved into a must-see event on the cultural calendar of the capitale.
ARCOmadrid features over 200 galleries from 30 nations. Each year, a special guest country is chosen, and a theme is presented to stimulate new ideas and creativity. It exhibits fascinating modern and contemporary artwork from Europe and Latin America, attracting reviewers, collectors, art experts, and the general public from all over the world. In recent years, the work for sale has been divided into two curated sections: a main section and a smaller section.
