Artist Statement

A union between a horse and a man’s torso, the Centaur was a mythological creature born of the sacrilegious love between the King Hission and Nefele, a double of the Goddess Era. They were powerful and extreme creatures, impersonating to excess all the qualities and all the faults of the human being - among others, the mastery in archery and the lack of resistance to wine.

The Centaurus Lounge Chair is made of 2 mm thick steel plates, laser cut, bent and shaped, welded and ground. The finishing consists of different steps, so to achieve the perfection required for such an exclusive product; the last touch is always handmade, to get a perfect result. A beautiful, unique jewel, sculptural, perfect for any interior style.

The Thinness Collection Matt Edition is available in bespoke colours, presented here in a soft-touch powder coated finish in forest green.
