Artist Statement

A couple of tables takes their name from a mythological couple, the hero Perseus who - according to a version of the myth - killed the Gorgon Medusa, who had the power to turn men into stone with her gaze. The hero defeated her and cut off her head from where sprung the winged horse Pegasus, later used even by Zeus to transport his proverbial lightning bolts. Today, no more heads of snake-haired monsters, nor lightning to sail the sky, but elegant tables to accompany everyday life, which live on their own; living perfectly alone, but are best paired.

The Pegasus side table is shaped from 3 mm thick steel plates to increase strength and stability. It’s the ideal complement for the set up of the living area, thanks to the precious finish by hand in satin-finish gold and pairs perfectly with the Perseus coffee table, thanks to the complementary geometric shape.

The Gold Edition finish is available in a limited edition of 33 signed and silkscreened.
Also available in a silver finish. Please contact The Artling for more details.
