Artist Statement

Handmade Minimalist Geometric wall light enhances the raw and natural materiality of light grey clay.
With its natural color and Minimalist geometric form appears the handmade movements that create it.
Hand modeled and carved into a very light grey clay, a gradient of neutral colors and textures from a geometric form.
The piece is the result of research on natural processes in design production.
Slowly air-dried for more than 30 days, until it reaches a few hours in a low-temperature oven, to reach its final color and form. During this process, the clay disc will take an unexpected organics movement in its form, almost like a living material, making each object unique in its details and colors. The brass part would be added at the end and tailored for each piece.
- 1 x bulb LED R7s 9W (100W) 1.055 lm Bi-volt (100-240v) - easy to find and easy to install; the since is sold with the bulb already installed.
- How does it stand on the wall? They are two "keyholes" on the back face that make the sconce stand flush and fit right to the wall - and you have to use two standard screws in anchors adapted to your wall type.
