Artist Statement
The seven years wall mirror is made of security-glass, mirror hit by gunshots and frame in polished Statuary marble (origin: Tuscany).
Mirror dimensions: L120 W75 cm.
Seven years tells the story of countless scenes of war, countless lives lost, beloved houses left behind. The never ending misery of mankind.
Seven years is also the symbol of the revolt against the merciless judge named mirror. The forever ongoing conflict with our own reflection, following a distorted ideal of beauty, cause and consequence of the secret suffering of many.
Each mirror is hand signed and numbered by the artists (engraved). 100% handmade in Italy, comes with a “Certificate of Authenticity”.
