The drawing highlights obvious shapes, curves, circles. Softness is put under tension by sharp lines and angles, conferring energy to the shape.

Craftsmanship or hand intelligence: the two-part metal structure runs along the top and the mirror. The geometry of the base contrasts with the very random pattern of the black and white ebony.
