Revolution Collection, the original fferrone glassware collection designed by Felicia Ferrone in 2001, was introduced into the permanent collection of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2009 and stands out today as fferrone's most iconic glassware design. The idea for its dual-sided functionality was the result of an evening dining with close friends as seen through Ferrone's trained architect's lens. Each piece is handcrafted without the use of molds by master glassblowers. The borosilicate glass allows for a range of hot and cold applications. As is the case for all fferrone glassware collections, the Revolution Collection is oven, microwave, and dishwasher safe for everyday use.
