Artist Statement
Inspired by the rise of the sun above the horizon, this décor table boxes set represents one of the multiple variations of Curiosité Collection about the abstract merge between the minimalist volumes tidily arranged on a squared tray, and the imaginary solar rays which touch these latter. In the attempt to conceptualise the light cast by a nordic sunrise, in this set, the imaginary rays are formally transposed into mirror shades, rigorously applied by hand on each piece.
