A set of monochromatic seating group based on the honesty of material and the purity of form. The minimal permutation of the shapes brings diversity to the design from every perspectives. Each one of the components is curated with necessity that fit with others to form a whole.

Jialun Xiong is a Los Angeles-based Furniture | Interior | Accessory designer, she has an aptitude for exploring the nuances of infinite combination of materials. Her designs are focused on finding balance between “flinty” and “femininity” by carefully curating landscape design stories with texture, light/shadow and negative space.
As a designer, she is fascinated by the color black - It has many complex layers and has had dierent meanings throughout time. She has created a collection of monochromatic furniture that is based on a “kaleidoscope of black”; rich and subtle, smooth and rough, matte and shiny, sassy and sweet, elegant and raw. By exploring the nuances of an entire collection of black color, materials, surfaces and forms. Her furniture exposes all who experience it to a new level of subtle discovery. Black reveals an honesty and purity of form, light and color.
