Artist Statement

The irregular shapes of the robust volumes of the three rocks tables are finished in smoky brown birds eye wood veneer in high gloss varnish. Here is presented the model of the low coffee table.
The small dotted nodules of this veneer resemble the texture of a true rock and the high gloss finish to the lake water, turns the surface almost an exact picture of the idyllic autumnal landscape. The leaves are embedded by the hands of a craftsman with the art of marquetry. The work is performed entirely by hand with wisdom and perfection.
These tables are highly customized designs that can be produced in a wide variety of materials and finishes such as lacquered, wood veneers, gold, silver and copper leaf, as well as fully covered by glass and mirror options.
