Artist Statement

Guá is a contemporary version of a traditional screen, the result of a collaboration between Knót Artesanal and Mexican artist Patricia Sada. The straight lines and natural wood tone of the frame contrast with the vibrant colour and organic form of the Guapuruvu leaf stem.

Guá screen is handmade from the Brazilian hardwood Freijó and can be customised taking advantage of the diverse range of colours used by Patricia.
