A material reflection on the relationship between bodies and things. A gesture, a touch, a grip, all gets imprinted in the form itself. A precious memory of a hand laid on the object crystallizes, to stay on the surface forever.
A sculptural ceramic vase, made from bisque cobalt-blue porcelain.
My vases are made by hand, therefore each is one-of-a-kind and slightly differs in size and shape, as an original sculpture. I love that they are all unique, because what you have, no one else has. Each piece is made with care and great attention to every detail.
***The vase has minor imperfections, that do not affect its functionality. As seen in the close up image.

A multidisciplinary artist, designer, architect, observer, maker, collector. Based in Barcelona.
I have a background in architecture and product design. Currently I work primarily in clay, as
I found in it serenity and slowness, that I've long searched for.
I try to escape the rush for eternal newness and pursue calm timelessness.
In 2020 I felt ready to launch virmary - a brand of handmade objects and jewelry.
It is a reflection of my own values and aspirations. Sustainability is guiding my every choice, from the source materials and processes to packaging. My main materials are bisque porcelain and gold plated sterling silver. Avoiding glazing when possible allows for recyclability and reduces the amount of kiln firings. Each item is thoughtfully crafted by hand in very small series, making every piece unique.
I like to think of these objects as precious gifts, acts of care for a dear friend, loved one or yourself, rituals companions to cherish and pass over. Accumulating value along their way.
