A sculptural decorative bowl made in very fine and delicate white clay, unglazed from outside and with clear glossy glaze inside.
The bowl is decorated with a hand-drawn floral motif - Sunflower, inspired by old botanic illustrations.
The bowl is made by hand and different from others in a series, as an original sculpture. It comes with a signed watercolor drawing.
I love that they are all unique, because what you have, no one else has. The piece is made with care and great attention to every detail.
The bowl is decorative. Clean with a smooth damp cloth if necessary.
***Note. The bowl has a superficial fracture on the outside (as seen in the image).

A multidisciplinary artist, designer, architect, observer, maker, collector. Based in Barcelona.
I have a background in architecture and product design. Currently I work primarily in clay, as
I found in it serenity and slowness, that I've long searched for.
I try to escape the rush for eternal newness and pursue calm timelessness.
In 2020 I felt ready to launch virmary - a brand of handmade objects and jewelry.
It is a reflection of my own values and aspirations. Sustainability is guiding my every choice, from the source materials and processes to packaging. My main materials are bisque porcelain and gold plated sterling silver. Avoiding glazing when possible allows for recyclability and reduces the amount of kiln firings. Each item is thoughtfully crafted by hand in very small series, making every piece unique.
I like to think of these objects as precious gifts, acts of care for a dear friend, loved one or yourself, rituals companions to cherish and pass over. Accumulating value along their way.
