Artist Statement
This made to order mixed media side table beautifully pairs oak and ceramic. The oak table top is made from locally sourced, repurposed felled urban trees that would have been burned. Each oval top is unique with characterful knots, grains and a smooth finish. The two legs are made from flecked stoneware clay with oscillating wave details that represent the waves of emotion when falling in lust.
