Artist Statement
Akin to the turret-like rooftop terraces we find in Renaissance homes, Altana is a table design that accepts no limitations – round all over, with no beginning nor end. Volume acting as a base with a flat table surface – a depiction of the “terrace” from which objects can view their surroundings without the risk of falling. Designed by Ivan Colominas for MMairo.
