Artist Statement
Unique and sculptural Lounge Chair. The Whale Chair was original designed by Morten in 2016. This particular piece from 2017 have received an artistic finish where multiple layers if stain have been applied to the piece, to further enhance the beautiful nature of the wood grain. The blueish and green color scheme give this piece a distinct ocean feel. It could be up for debate to call this a one-off item. We chose to say the chair is not one-off - but the finish is just a much a piece of abstract artwork as it is a finish and exact copy can't be done. What you see here is the Whale Chair that you'll receive.
