Artist Statement
Silva collection finds sexuality in shapes and human bodies. The pieces that compose this collection are designed to evoke erotic sensations through usual and tactile journeys which spring from intimate emotions.
APO is inspired by the smooth texture of a freshly shaved neck that borders on the nape.
Silva collection was created using 3D- casted moulds blended with decades of craftsmanship experience originating from Oaxaca state in Mexico. All of the pieces are made with a natural "engobe" finish to give them a unique lustrous texture that is both functional and beautiful.

Platalea studio was born out of a passion for both art and design. We love how both are so intrinsically intertwined in ways that are often too subtle to surmise in our everyday routines.
