Artist statement
A wonderful fiber sculpture whose shape is inspired by nature and represents a hanging cocoon. The cocoon has a beautiful natural beige color, as it is made of cotton rope - material produced in Catalonia, Spain. The material also makes this sculpture soft, warm and pleasant to touch. We believe our handmade cocoon may bring warmth and coziness into your interior. This work is made in ancient knotting technique known as macrame. The cocoon can also be used as an air plant hanger.
