With a sculptural approach to his work, Yakobi manipulates materials and processes in a ways
to achieve innovative results that push the conversation around the relationship between art and design.
His playful exploration of matter, shape, and color allows movement between disciplines.
Yakobi's designs evoke a futuristic yet ancient aesthetic that challenges perceptions
of what a functional object can look like, resulting in one-of-a-kind pieces that represent a fusion of contemporary and traditional techniques.
