Founded by Camille Menard, Agnst Design is a Parisian studio convinced by the liberating force within the field of object design. Since freedom is intimately linked to knowledge, Agnst Design considers object design as an opportunity to avoid social alienation. To do so, the studio vouches to identify the possibility for user to understand the mechanisms at stake in his/her choices. Each project thus provides objects and experiences that are humouristic and dedicated to advancing our understanding of the world. It is about verifying the independence of a way of thinking in the way of the taking action.

Describe your creative process.
My work is between industrial design and contemporary art: its objects are not only functional but also meaningful. From a sociological perspective, my projects create humoristics situations, allowing the user to question the mechanisms at stake in his/her behaviour. It is about unveiling the underlying way of thinking behind a certain behavior.
