Michele received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from FIT in New York City. She began studying ceramics while living in Krakow, Poland and finally opened her own studio LAM Ceramica after moving to Venice, Italy.

What inspires you?
Shape. I take inspiration from the shapes that exist all around us: a building, the heel of a shoe, a lampshade, a leaf, etc. I then adapt the form to create a functional ceramic object.

Marianne Brant, Josef Hoffman
Where do you go for inspiration?
I am fortunate enough to live in Venice, Italy. The city is endlessly inspiring.
