Studio Ceramicatelie is a joint project of two Russian ceramists, Anna Mamaladze and Elena Pesko.
Our idea is simple - to create works on the verge of gallery and designer ceramics.
In our world, which is filled with stereotyped objects, it is sometimes difficult to tell whether a piece of furniture was bought in the mass market or in a luxury shops, because the line between them has been rapidly blurring.
What we offer are items that will definitely declare your taste and desire for individuality and will fit into any modern interior, give it some character. Our ceramics are designed and made in a single copy, but the artist's voice in it tries not to outweigh the aesthetic component, be in harmony with it. You will never confuse our works with vases from Zara Home, but you will also not frown at the fact that ceramics "stick out" in the interior - we will help you choose those works that will smoothly fit into your environment.
We dream that ceramics will decorate every home, so we create multi-format works - both large, suitable for large spaces, medium and small, which will look good in any, even small, apartment.
Our inspiration is travel, fantasy worlds, the natural beauty of our planet. But also each of us relies on the culture, in which we were brought up, on our national and historical roots.
In our workshop, we deliberately use the oldest method of sculpting - sculpting with bundles. This technology allows you to create different shapes, requires a lot of time, precision and skill. Of course, some of the works are created in other ways of working with clay, but this one is our favorite. In the decor, we experiment with glass, metal, wood, use the most modern certified glazes.
Since 2011, we have been working together, supporting each other, sharing ideas, participating in exhibitions, engaging husbands, children, friends and everyone who believes in us and who is close to our work in our "ceramic" adventure. We invite you to get acquainted with our studio!
