Bridging the worlds of modern and contemporary art, Galerie Stephanie is envisioned to be a leading art space that balances established artists with the cream of the up-and-coming set. The gallery has exhibited the works of renowned artists such as Philippine National Artist Federico Aguilar Alcuaz and modern masters such as Juvenal Sanso, Dominic Rubio, Ramon Orlina, Mario Parial, Angelito Antonio, Lydia Velasco, Malang, Raul Lebajo, Michael Cacnio, Daniel de la Cruz, and Juan Sajid Imao.
Founded in 2007, Galerie Stephanie is an artist-centered art space that displays exhibitions of both established and emerging artists in the Philippines, Located in northern Metro Manila, the gallery benefits from being close to some of the leading universities in the Philippines. As such, the exhibitions of the galley are characterized by a high-level of curatorial detail and extensive documentation.
Aside from holding exhibitions of more established artists, the gallery prides itself in its development program of emerging young artists. The gallery regularly works with freelance curators and curatorial consultants to expose artists to new techniques and concept, as well as exhibitions and events throughout the Philippines and the region.
The gallery is also mindful of the growth of the Philippine art scene and views itself as a public education center. It frequently holds seminars, workshops, and authentication events. The gallery also invites experts to lecture on art conservation and consults with clients to ensure that they are educated in all aspects of art and art history.
