Profile
Country: Japan
NANZUKA is contemporary art gallery which is founded by Shinji Nanzuka in 2005 and was previously called 'Nanzuka Underground'. NANUZKA tries to rediscover Japanese artists such as Keiichi Tanaami (B.1936) who were ignored by the art system after the Second World War and aims to introduce to the international art scene. It also aids young Japanese artists who are exploring the new possibilities of the international art scene. We are also working with international artists to introduce them to the Japanese art scene; such as Tatjana Doll (Germany), Todd James (USA), Frank Nitsche (Germany), Oliver Payne(UK) and Jompet Kuswidananto (Indonesia) etc.
