Gallery Intern

The Artling is looking for a highly-motivated individual interested in art and design to intern with us for three to six months

We are looking for a part-time (minimum 2 days a week) or full-time intern. Duties will include social media management, generating content for our Artzine, assisting with event coordination, formulating proposals for offline consultancy projects and general administrative duties. As our team is small, this will be a great opportunity to get hands-on experience and learn more about working in the art world in Asia.

The ideal candidate must have a keen eye for detail and be able to deliver to a meticulous standard. Use of Microsoft Office, such as Excel and Word, is a must. Proficiency in Adobe Suite, especially InDesign and Photoshop, is a plus. Tasks will vary and candidates need to have existing knowledge of the Arts & Design field so they can jump straight into work!

To start ASAP! Must be available for a minimum of a three-month period.

Send us your CV and a bit more information about yourself to with the subject ‘Gallery Internship.’ Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.

SEO/SEM Manager

We are looking for a highly-motivated individual with expertise in "growth hacking" to join The Artling team!

We need someone who is 100% self-driven and determined to make a change. This is not the kind of job where you open up your inbox and pick the next few tasks given to you by your boss. If we knew what tasks should be done next, we would just do them right now.

This is the kind of position where you bombard us with questions until you have a full understanding of our product, our target audience and the market and then come up with crazy ideas on how to drive growth.

You need to work in a highly structured way, form a thesis, document it, implement it (need good communication skills with the rest of the team), monitor it (important!), and then tweak it (or dismiss it) based on actual data.

Key Management Responsibilities

  • Define requirements, tasks, and resources associated to SEO strategy
  • Manage and execute implementation of SEO strategy
  • Communication to team, and management on strategy/project development, timelines, and results
  • Stay up to speed with SEO, search engine, social media and web marketing industry trends and development

Key Functional Responsibilities

  • Provide recommendations and execute/manage strategies for content development in coordination with SEO goals – general and keyword specific
  • Help to create and support marketing content to socialize and use for social media purposes (e.g. customer videos briefs, customer case studies, blog posts, posts from analysts and customers)
  • Develop and implement link building campaigns
  • Develop, manage and execute communication/content strategies via social communities in coordination with goals
  • Implement and administer search engine programs (XML sitemaps, shopping feeds, webmaster tools)
  • Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance across the major search channels in order to improve rankings
  • Research and administer social media tools in support of clients’ social media strategy
  • Monitor and evaluate web analytics dashboards and reports in order to develop and recommend SEO strategies
  • Communication to team and management on project development, timelines, and results

  • Passion!
  • Strategic and creative thinking
  • Attention to detail
  • Multi-tasking capability
  • Ability to clearly and effectively articulate thoughts and points
  • High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, project management and time management skills

If all the above sounds like a challenge you would accept, don't hesitate! Drop us an email at and tell us a bit about yourself!

Part-Time Staff Writer

As The Artling grows as an online art gallery, we also hope to become one of the primary resources for content on contemporary art in Asia. We are seeking part-time staff writers to write articles for our Artzine, relating to Asian art events and exhibitions happening regionally and internationally.

We are looking for a motivated, independent individual who will be able to deliver thoroughly-researched and interesting articles. The writer would be expected to pitch 3-4 article ideas per month to our team, and proceed with writing and researching whichever articles are selected. The role would also involve uploading the article to our website. Articles should be between 500-1500 words in length, and be accompanied by copyright-free/approved images.

The ideal candidate must speak and write in English fluently, and be able to deliver according to strict deadlines. A background in Art History or knowledge of the Art & Design fields is preferable. As this is a part-time position, writers can work remotely, although if they are based in Singapore, they also have the option of working from our office in central Singapore.

Send us your CV and 2-3 writing samples to with the subject ‘Part-Time Staff Writer Application.’ Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
