Artist statement
Still image in a classic pop style. Bold hues of yellow, red, green, pink and fuchsia explode from the image. The work is divided into three sections, each with a different treatment and background color.
This original piece was created from 8 separate drawings, paintings, photos and gradients layered onto one high-resolution digital canvas. This created an image filled with conflict and competition, which was then edited and filtered to find harmony (or intentional contrast) in the final image. This image is created in 8K resolution.
