Artist Statement
Oculus 233g5c is an abstraction of part of the Oculus Structure at Ground Zero in NYC, which was also casting shadows on the interior, seen through the windows from the inside, while the glass was also reflecting the interior of the structure at the same time. There are several versions of the main image (Oculus 233), each EITHER offered as limited edition print of 3, or as an NFT. In this version (233g6b), offered as an NFT, I have reduced the contrast of the image, and reduced the coloration to just a single shade of purple, which I have made very saturated it seems to balance out all the black, white and gray areas, yet yielding a 3 dimensional look, rather than the flat 2 dimensional look of most of the other versions of this image.
