Trained as an actress, Linda Clerget extends her artistic field from theater to visual arts through photography and painting. The artist seeks to create a poetry of links between human and nature, dream and reality, the human species and spirituality. The work is a hybridization between a photographic self-portrait of the artist asleep and one of her works in ink. The self-portrait represents her asleep, doubled. The video is moving, and the sound lets hear a rooster crowing and then an explosion. It is a metaphor of the human condition, the universal feeling of being able to discover a hidden world that would be above or below ours as if we were under hypnosis. It is also a mise en abime with the metaverse, a parallel world where we live in duplicate.
