Based in: Parabita - Lecce
Born in 1971 in Parabita, Lecce, where he currently lives, he approaches the world of photography at the age of twenty.
In his formative years, he moves to Rome to attend Communication and Sociological studies at La Sapienza University. At the same time, he keeps studying Photography, takes part in classes and workshops , in order to specialize in architecture and landscape photography.
In 2019 he is the creator and artistic director of WeLand Photofest, festival of landscape photography, organized by Photosintesi Association in Specchia, Lecce.
His photographs have been displayed in several personal and collective exhibitions, published in national and international specialized journals.
Among his latest projects, we also remember the publications: Finibus Terrae (Camera Infinita, 2018), Borgo Pace and Con i tuoi occhi (Officine della Fotografia, 2016 - 2017).
He is also a member of Collectiv EV, a group of authors working in photographic investigation and exploration.

What inspires you?
I am inspired by the landscape photography of the Italian and American school, made by the most interesting authors Shore, Ghirri, Baltz, Wim Wenders, Eggleston. I am interested in painters such as Charles Sheeler, De Chirico, Lucio Fontana, Kandinskij, Paul Klee.
Describe your creative process.
I am a photographer who loves to immortalize silence and places by looking for the human passage. Many times I let myself be guided by instinct, other times my photographic research stems from interdisciplinary studies and research.

Formalism, minimalism, color.
Who are some artists that have influenced your work?
Luigi Ghirri, Stephen Shore, Guido Guidi, Walker Evans, Lewis Baltz, Robert Adams, Franco Fontana, Lucio Fontana, Charles Sheeler, William Eggleston, Joseph Hofflener, De Chirico, Guttuso.
What is the most important tool when creating your work?
My gaze connected to thought and feeling.
What is the best piece of advice you have been given?
Photograph what you are.
Where do you go for inspiration?
My favorite place is the sea and its silence that opens the mind.
