Audrey Richard-Laurent

ARL uses drawing as a way of expressing ideas and sharing them with other people.

She describes her practice as inserting creation in places 'where it is not expected'. Alongside her artistic work, ARL does exactly that across several industries and countries. She advises and creates products and services with a specific interest in health and behavior change for big corporations and startups. She's also the creator of “We Are Chalkers” a nightime collaborative playful experience, during which participants express themselves, reconnect with their creativity and the city using only asphalt as a canva and chalk, and transforming cities into temporary creations all over the world.

Her vision is to push boundaries and empower people by creating meaningful experiences. Art, Nature and sciences and their combination triggers Audrey’s creativity.

She finds inspiration everywhere: from pure beauty to raw imperfection. Being in flow lets her unfold her creativity to convey and explore sensual territories. She deliberately leaves room for imagination in her creations so her drawings grow in the mind and heart of the observer. She likes to play with the tension between complexity and minimalism in her representation.

ARL is based in Paris when not exploring the world.

Audrey graduated from ENSCI-Les Ateliers (Paris School for Advanced Studies in Design, France) with an MA in Industrial Design and from EPFL (Federal Polytechnic School, Lausanne, Switzerland) with a certificate of advanced studies in Augmented Reality.
