With a deep fascination for water, she interweaves its flowing into twisted objects, natural creatures and female body parts. This mysterious character of water allows her to visualise the relationship between human beings and nature at a deeper, subconscious level. Qimeng’s creative process lends herself to identify as an Earthling, Asian and female.
