Navina Khatib is a photographer/filmmaker based in Berlin who is currently working in the field of abstract landscape photography.
She creates multicolored and surreal wide horizons, working mainly with analogue filters such as kaleidoscopes and certain materials like foil and transparent paper.
Most of her work was shot in South America, The Canary Islands and Mexico.
The series „Colors of Salt“ is her colorful interpretation of the Altiplano of Bolivia.
The main topic of her work is transformation, reproduction, deconstruction, reconstruction and dissolution of concreteness in order to open up new dimensions without earthly boundaries.
