This is a high-quality reproduction of an original abstract painting by contemporary American artist Brandon Woods. Part of Woods' award-winning "Eureka 2.0" series. In this work, Woods embraced the expressive potential of working on a small scale with a palette knife, slowly building up the dynamic, red-violet field in this work, and then carefully constructing the white quadrilateral frame above it to have a subtle illusion of shifting in space, reflecting the shifting structural dimensionality found in other works in Woods' "Eureka 2.0" series, leading Woods' partner, Caitlin Lissauer, to title the work "Blueprint." Woods had the original work professionally scanned at a high resolution to ensure supreme detail and accuracy, even for large-scale reproductions.

Brandon Woods‘ artworks bridge art, craft, science, and mathematics, while also conveying vibrant passions, sensitive intimacies, and rich histories unique to each viewer, through the associations they establish between the work and their individual past experiences. His artistic practice is heavily research-based and interdisciplinary: his investigations of diverse fields such as optics, computer programming, neuroscience, linguistics, and probability theory have enabled him to pursue highly innovative approaches to creating works of art in a four-dimensional arena through mathematical formulas and chance-based algorithms of his own design.
Woods earned his MFA in Painting from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in 2015. He has received numerous awards and grants for his work, including, most recently, a Bailey Opportunity Grant through the Knoxville Arts & Culture Alliance. His work has been exhibited and collected throughout the United States and internationally, in New York, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Miami, Hong Kong, Canada, and France. His work is on permanent display in a number of hotels and residencies, including The Andaz in Savannah, GA, The Georgian Terrace in Atlanta, GA, and The Whitehall in Houston, Texas. He is currently preparing a large body of new works for his upcoming solo exhibition “Dimensionality” in July, 2021 at the Emporium Center for Arts and Culture in Knoxville, TN.
