‘Lucky’ is the latest exhibition from Australian Artist and Textile Designer Chris Chun, which features the 12 animals of the Chinese Lunar Calendar. Each animal combines traditional Asian symbolism with contemporary Western sensibilities to bring good fortune, health and happiness to their owner.
2019 is the Year of the Pig.
Occupying the last position in 12 Chinese Zodiac animals, the Pig is a mild and lucky animal representing carefree fun, good fortune and wealth.
Those born under the Chinese Zodiac sign of the Pig are extremely nice, good-mannered and tasteful. They’re perfectionists who enjoy finer things but are not perceived as snobs. They enjoy helping others and are good companions.
