Artist Statement
This piece is a part of my ‘Textures’ series. Water has been an ongoing subject in my life and this conection reflects on my work constantly. The color changes and the different movement of waves makes it a blank page for every picture.
For me, a frame of the surface of water activates many memories and opens a door to reflection. Reflections that will be singular to each person looking at a same image.

At the end of my masters in architecture I started taking pictures and completely fell in love with photography. I only decided to follow this path after having the first picture I ever sold published in one of the most important architecture books in Brazil (OCA: Arquitetura no Brasil). I have been working with architects and galleries ever since, trying to create windows on walls and bring people closer to nature.
