Artist Statement
As a landscape photographer, I find myself ''chasing the light'' a lot. We don't have control over our environment, we can not set up reflectors for mountain peaks, so we just play along. Moments when the scene lights up exactly how you would want it, are rare, hence precious. This was one of these moments, as a small mountain at the bottom of a fjord was hit by a direct light while surroundings were still engulfed in a cloudy haze.
