Artist statement
"Winter metamorphosis. Nocturno" by Rina Garon.
This artwork abstractly depicts the frosty vortices in the dark of the winter night. In the center of the picture is shown a substance, energy radiating with fluorescent light and encompassing everything around it. The idea is a moment of wonderful transformation of nature, a cold and beautiful winter metamorphosis.
"Winter Metamorphosis. Nocturno" participated in a charity project and was sold as part of an international art object at an NFT auction.
Project Description: Nikas Safronov's NFT Christmas Tree: Artists for Artists 2021 is a charity project that brought together 250 professional artists from around the world to create one NFT Christmas tree decorated with their toys. Each toy is an individual art object, which is an integral part of a single global art object that was put up for sale at an NFT auction. All proceeds from the sale of the unique NFT Christmas tree went to support young artists from the M.B. Grekov Art School in Rostov, who are just starting their artistic journey.
