Artist Statement
In my works, apart from those in which I deal with social issues, it is mainly about forms and their abstraction. Abstraction of our environment, our everyday life. We often always go the same way and after a while don't really notice anything anymore. I try to work against this every day - by changing my perspective. In my series SCHOENEFORMENSEHEN I deal intensively with the world from above. Sometimes it's a field consisting of thousands of grain varieties, sometimes it's a reed field, then again a bodden (a little lake), forests, snowy landscapes.
