Part of the Scenery series which started in 2020.

Having studied design in Zurich, Berlin-based artist Tanja Schaub now dedicates herself to creating works of art that can be distinguished by their complexity of technique and their ambiguity of meaning.
Working with both digital and analogue media, she aptly combines shapes drawn on her iPad with motifs sketched out on paper. The result? Colourful abstract designs in which bold colour blocks juxtapose with soft, fluid movements of the hand. Through such contrasts, Tanja Schaub subtly pays homage to the beauty and complexity of Mother Nature.
